From 1996 to 2014, we served many local and international customers in the tourism sector under the name Omar’s Kitchen in Kaş Kalkan. After a 7-year hiatus, we resumed our services in 2021 with a new name and at a new location as Sidek Cafe Restaurant. We welcome all our local and international guests staying in Kalkan, Sarıbelen, or choosing our region for their holiday.

With this newly opened family restaurant, our aim is to provide the best service to our domestic and foreign customers visiting our region for a holiday, to offer them our delicious meals and to assist them in eating and drinking during the holiday period. 

What will I cook today? ...you can choose what you want from our food menu on our site and eat it in our restaurant, or you can order it as a take-away and eat it in your villa. Süleyman runs the place with the help of his family and his family has some serious credentials in Kalkan’s history.

His grandfather used to run donkey tours around the village of Bezirgan. His father ran Omar’s Kitchen for many years and now, its his turn to take the rains and get into the hospitality industry. The food is village Turkish, set in a lovely garden. There are various specials and of course homemade mantı as well as freshly made gözleme. The tea is hot, the air is cool and the hospitality is fantastic.

The restaurant is located on the main road from Kalkan into Sarıbelen, just past the Lycian Way path. Located on the right side, cant miss the flags and the Sidek sign.
